Why 2027 Is an Exceptional Year
End of the Arlington Era
This Escalade generation will be the last model produced at GM's Arlington Assembly plant in Texas — the factory that has built the Escalade for decades and was part of its identity. After 2027, production moves to GM Orion Assembly in Michigan, receiving a $2 billion investment as part of GM's $4 billion North American manufacturing restructuring.
This transition makes the 2027 model the last of its production lineage — a fact that may elevate its collector value over the long term.
Torque Badges Elimination — A Brand Identity Shift
The Newton-meter torque badges that have appeared on the Escalade's rear since 2019 will disappear starting with the 2027 model. This decision applies across the entire Cadillac lineup and signals a shift in the brand's visual presentation strategy. The badges previously displayed torque rounded to the nearest 50 or 100 Newton-meters.

What This Means for the Saudi Market
The Escalade enjoys a particular status in Saudi Arabia among American luxury car enthusiasts. Its commanding size, road presence, and 6.2L V8 engine represent values that appeal to a specific buyer segment. The minor updates for 2027 won't change this equation, but the production move to Michigan starting 2028 makes the 2027 model a distinctive choice for collectors and long-term value buyers.
